General Eisenhower
understood that many people would be unable to comprehend the full scope of
this horror. He also understood that any human deeds that were so utterly
evil might eventually be challenged or even denied as being literally
unbelievable. For these reasons he ordered that all the civilian news media
and military combat camera units be required to visit the camps and record
their observations in print, pictures and film. As he explained to General
Marshall, “I made the visit deliberately, in order to be in a position to
give first-hand evidence of these things if ever, in the future, there
develops a tendency to charge these allegations merely to ‘propaganda.’” Will the world tolerate a second Holocaust? Let us not forget the past. Corrie’s family was willing to risk their lives for God’s chosen people. The Ten Boom’s helped hundreds of Jewish people escape the Nazi death camps until they were imprisoned themselves. Four of the Ten Boom family died as a result but Corrie survived and spent thirty-three years traveling around the world telling her story. Corrie’s remarkable story is relived by actress Evelyn Hinds. Evelyn’s portrayal grips the hearts and emotions of audiences of all ages. It is a story of a simple Dutch family willing to stand against the evil of Hitler and his murderous plans for the Jewish people. You can host an event that will be remembered for years to come by inviting Evelyn Hinds to your platform. May we all remember and stand with Israel against the evil of anti-Semitism in our present perilous times.
